Lou Holtz is mostly known for his work on ESPN nowadays, but he was a great coach at Notre Dame and even brought South Carolina out of some pretty dark times. He has over 200 wins in his career and has parlayed that into a studio job with CBS Sports and now ESPN. And it looks like his coaching genes will continue on with his grandson Trey taking a job under Urban Meyer at Ohio State:

Meyer has said many times that one of his long-time mentors is legendary coach Lou Holtz, so it is no surprise that the Buckeyes hired his grandson to the staff. Of course, Trey's dad Skip is a coach as well and a good one at that so the coaching runs pretty strong in the family.

Holtz is a former walk-on quarterback at Texas, who starred at Tampa (FL) Plant High School, prior to arriving in Austin in 2012. He played in 23 career games for the Longhorns, mostly serving as the team's placeholder in 2015 (11 games) and 2016 (12 games).
