The current AP Poll has five teams from the SEC in it while the ACC has three teams. Granted two of those ACC teams are in the top five. However, the argument has been for a long time now that the SEC is the best football conference in the land. SB Nation's Bud Elliott —- a Florida State alum and Florida native —- has a case for why the ACC might be the better of the two though.

Elliott was scrolling through some stats and happened upon this one to make the case for why the ACC overall may be better than the SEC.
Going through https://t.co/R0JkZbqmjj. Clemson, FSU, Miami have faced 6 teams with winning records. Florida 3.

While those are only a few teams, it does make for an interesting assessment, but then I guess he isn't counting Alabama on purpose because the Crimson Tide seems to play a ranked opponent almost every week.
