It's not odd for coordinators to take the same job at different schools, which is what Matt Lubick did after his head coach was fired at Oregon (Mark Helfrich). He took an offer from Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss on Dec. 23 to become their offensive coordinator. However, it seems he's already found a better job.

Not even two weeks into the job, Lubick decided that he would take the same position at another Power Five school in Baylor. According to Football Scoop and multiple reports, Lubick is accepting the offensive coordinator position with the Bears after just ten days into his tenure at Ole Miss.

Lubick previously coached Oregon's wide receivers from 2013-2015 before being promoted to offensive coordinator. He actually had spent time in Oxford as a receivers coach in 2005 and 2006 as well.
