
Four-star inside linebacker Tyler Taylor (6-foot-2, 230 pounds, Buford, Ga.) was one of the first major announcements on the morning of National Signing Day, and the Georgia recruit will be heading out-of-state after announcing his commitment to the LSU Tigers.

Apparently playing time was a factor for Taylor, who was also considering Auburn, Georgia, and Oklahoma.
Tyler Taylor's mom said "it all came down to playing time" with his #LSU pick. LB depth was a big selling point for the Tigers this year.

At the time of Taylor's commitment, LSU had 22 pledges for the 2017 class. They are currently a consensus Top 10 class in the nation per Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports.
