
That was how ESPNU opened up its NIT selection show right after everyone found out the NCAA Tournament brackets were leaked out before CBS' selection show finished on Sunday. Talk about major shade being thrown at a competing network. That probably won over a few extra viewers for that show.
No one really cares about the NIT unless their team is in it, but that was definitely a good reason to tune in. Any time two networks make fun of each other, you're going to have a good time. It's one of the unwritten rules of television viewing and it is glorious.
