Georgia running back Nick Chubb had a tremendous return to the field in a season opener last weekend. He ran for 222 yards on 32 rushes (6.9 yards per carry) and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs in a 33-24 win over North Carolina.
It was Chubb's first game since he injured his knee against Tennessee last year and missed the second half of the season. He told ESPN's Laura Rutledge about a unique rehabbing method: taekwondo.
That's right, Chubb healed his knee by slamming his foot into a board. He said the training helped him test out his knee and build strength.

Chubb certainly looked like he'd regained confidence in his knee's strength by the way he ran against the Tar Heels, so we guess the Taekwondo training was worth it.
Georgia, who's ranked No. 9, plays next against Nicholls State before opening SEC play at Missouri on Sept. 17.
