While the HGH investigation into current NFL players Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews continues, the league's investigation stemming from an Al Jazeera report into Peyton Manning was found to have "no credible evidence," per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport:

After Manning denied the claim in a statement, the "pharmacist" in the report, Charlie Sly, reportedly told ESPN's Chris Mortensen he isn't even a pharmacist and "made up" the story. Sly reportedly had told an undercover reporter working for Al Jazeera that Manning was given HGH after recovering from neck surgery in 2011.

In the end, Manning escapes the league unscathed with his legacy intact.
Manning retired from the NFL earlier in the offseason following his second Super Bowl victory.
