Both the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders are desperate for depth on defense, and Bowman could provide that.
He's a three-time Pro Bowler and a former Super Bowl starter, standing out for the 49ers in a 34-31 loss to the Baltimore Ravens during the 2013 season.
Bowman started 74 games over seven seasons, all with the 49ers. He's registered more than 500 tackles, 12.5 sacks, four interceptions and nine forced fumbles.
