Mississippi State's hands were tied when they had to boot freshman receiver John Michael Hankerson from the team on Thursday. He had been arrested for the third time in a month and that was definitely the last straw for coach Dan Mullen and his staff.
Joel Coleman of the Starkviille Daily reports that Hankerson committed a list of egregious crimes and Coleman has all of it noted:
Hankerson is on the arrest report for armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault.

Was told Hankerson & 2 other unidentified black males robbed an apartment and "pistol whipped" occupants and took items.

Hankerson was arrested for the first time Dec. 1 after turning himself in to campus police following simple assault charges, Hankerson was again arrested less than a week later for false pretense. The former three-star recruit did not play this year and is no longer enrolled at the school.
