The women's Royal Rumble was a perfect combination of nostalgia and really solid storytelling. Midway through the 30-woman match, we got a showdown between Mickie James and retired WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, causing those in attendance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia to go nuts.
After the match, James teased one more match between the two legends.
My favorite moment of the entire womenβs rumble. One of the great rivalries revisited. Can we see this one more time at WM34? ππ»ππ»ππ» @MickieJames @trishstratuscom pic.twitter.com/kT1GjM4K49

Stratus is arguably the greatest women's wrestler in WWE history. She won the Women's championship seven times over her career, and held the Hardcore title once. She was in WWE from 2000-2011.
James debuted in WWE with her rivalry with Stratus, which ran from 2005-06.
James held the Women's title five times, the Diva's championship once and worked in WWE from 2005-2010. She returned at NXT TakeOver in 2016 before jumping back to the main roster in 2017.
