Former Michigan tight end Jake Butt was injured in his final college game against Florida State in the Orange Bowl, and it looks like some smart foresight from Butt is allowing him to college big time as he falls in the NFL Draft.
Butt, who tore his ACL in the Orange Bowl, is currently collecting on an insurance policy that has already netted him over $100,000. According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, Butt can collect $10,000 per pick that he falls in the Draft.

Butt was expected to be a second or third round draft pick before his injury, and it looks like the policy is covering his fall past those positions. According to Rovell, Butt can collect up to $2 million on his insurance policy if he falls out of the Draft completely.
Butt has since been drafted by the Denver Broncos.
Butt was a two-time First Team All-American at Michigan, accounting for 1,646 career receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns.
