The recruiting process is never really over until an athlete shows up on a school's campus as an enrolled student, and this could prove to be one of the most notable cases of the 2018 recruiting cycle.
Four-star offensive guard Emil Ekiyor (6-foot-4, 322 pounds, Indianapolis, IN) has been committed to Michigan for almost a year, but it looks like his recruitment is far from over. In an interview with Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Ekiyor openly admitted that he is still talking with Alabama and that Michigan won't be the only team getting an official visit.

"Most of the time I'm sticking Michigan but sometimes I have second thoughts and think Alabama looks good," Ekiyor said in the interview. Ekiyor will be taking an official visit to Alabama next week, and 247Sports mentions that Ekiyor could still take officials to Ohio State and Florida State.
While those schools are still competing for the talented Ekiyor, one thing is certain: Ekiyor is still committed to Michigan, so clearly they are still doing well here. If Michigan was really falling out of favor, Ekiyor would probably be uncommitted instead of going on nearly a year pledged to the Wolverines.
Ekiyor is ranked as the No. 4 offensive guard in the nation by the 247Sports Composite.
