Lloyd Murray Jr. is a huge defensive tackle out of Wichita Falls, Texas and while he might not need to commit to a school before 2019, he's decided to go ahead and do it anyway. The massive 6'2", 300-pound DT has verbally committed to a school out east rather than the many choices he has in the state of Texas.

He told 247Sports that all of the coaches he talked to were high on him and said he could make an impact as a freshmen when he does arrive on campus. However, there was one other big reason why he decided Tallahassee was the place to be.
"My grandparents graduated from FSU and I was just born a 'Nole," Murray Jr. said.
Recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach Tim Brewster was the primary recruiter on Murray and gave the big man an offer on Feb. 23 of this year. Murray Jr. is scheduled to visit FSU for their spring game in early April. He had previously visited FSU for their game against Clemson during the 2016 season. He does not currently have a ranking on 247Sports or in the composite rankings since he is only a rising junior.
