Nothing is better in football than a good, clean hit. This one here is one of the best in the past few seasons of college football.
The situation here was Georgia Tech punter Ryan Rodwell running a fake punt, where he succeeded in getting a first down. However, he was punished for that success when Miami's Marques Gayot picked him up and slammed him down in good ol' Arn Anderson spinebuster fashion.
Speaking of spinebusters, here's the hit with Jim Ross circa Backlash 2000 dubbed on commentary:
It turns out that Rodwell ended up sacrificing himself for nothing; Georgia Tech did not score on that drive. They did, however, go on to win the game 28-17.
