La La Land Gets the Honest Trailer Treatment

I’d like to start off by saying I’ve never seen La La Land nor do I ever have any intention of seeing it.  A movie that’s this rife with homage to the “Old Hollywood” bothers me without even having to know a thing about it.  I know I sound pretentious and to be honest I really don’t care.   I just cannot for the life of me see any value whatsoever to a movie like this.  That said, I have respect for the fact that so many others thought it was quality.  While I don’t always agree with the Academy, if a movie has that many nominations, including one for best picture, there has to be some kind of validity for its quality.   Again though, that said I don’t care.   I just can’t do it.  I won’t do it.

What I will do however is validate all of my opinions on a film I’ve never seen by sharing an “honest trailer” of it.  The guys at Screenjunkies took the time to say pretty much everything I think I would say after watching this movie that I never intend to watch.

So without further interruption, here’s an honest trailer for La La Land.
