Early Years and College Football Career

Joseph Keyshawn Johnson was born in Los Angeles, California, and attended both Palisades High School and Susan Miller Dorsey High School.

Johnson spent two seasons at the University of Southern California, where he made a name for himself and earned All-American honors. He was named Most Valuable Player of the 1995 Cotton Bowl after helping lead the Trojans to victory over Texas Tech.

Johnson entered the 1996 NFL Draft and was selected with the first-overall pick by the New York Jets.

Keyshawn Johnson spent four seasons with the Jets, making the Pro Bowl in 1998 and 1999 before being traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Johnson played for the Bucs until 2003 when he joined the Dallas Cowboys on a two-year deal. His final NFL season came in 2006 with the Carolina Panthers.

Across his career, Johnson made three Pro Bowls and won the Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2002. He racked up 64 touchdowns and over 10,500 receiving yards prior to his retirement.

Following his retirement from the National Football League, Johnson began working as a broadcaster for ESPN in 2009, featuring on programs including Sunday NFL Countdown, SportsCenter, and Monday Night Countdown.

The former NFL player also founded the business First Picks Management, which aids athletes with investments and is partnered with the NBA.

Additionally, Johnson appeared on the popular television show Dancing With The Stars, though he was the first contestant eliminated from the show.

Keyshawn Johnson was previously married to Shikiri Hightower from 1998-2002. They had two children together: daughter Maia and son Keyshawn Johnson Jr.

The pair divorced and Johnson remarried in 2014 to Jennifer Conrad. The couple are parents to London Johnson.

Despite the fact they are still married, Conrad previously filed for divorce, though the case was eventually dismissed due to inactivity.
