Judge issues ruling to bizarre request in ongoing Aaron Hernandez lawsuit

Odin Lloyd's family suffered a setback when a Massachusetts judge ruled it could not access any information pertaining to the autopsy performed on Aaron Hernandez after he killed himself, the Boston Heraldreported.

Odin Lloyd's family suffered a setback when a Massachusetts judge ruled it could not access any information pertaining to the autopsy performed on Aaron Hernandez after he killed himself, the Boston Herald reported.

Lawyers for Ursula Ward wanted to to either perform their own tests on Hernandez's blood, brain and urine — or get access to the results — for possible use in a wrongful death civil suit. Ward, Lloyd's mother, has sued Hernandez, who was found guilty in the murder of her son.

Ward's lawyers said the information was critical, but a judge differed, ruling the lawyers had "not establish a factual basis for the assertion that Mr. Hernandez's physical condition at the time of his death is relevant to the issues raised in this civil action," according to the Herald report.

Hernandez killed Lloyd in 2013 because the increasingly paranoid former football star couldn't trust him anymore, courts testimony revealed.

Hernandez, the former star for the Florida Gators and New England Patriots, hung himself in his jail cell last month shortly after he was found innocent in a double murder case.
