Former Florida State starting quarterback Sean Maguire announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he will join Jimbo Fisher's Texas A&M staff as a graduate assistant.

Maguire spent four seasons with the Seminoles, serving as the team's starting quarterback in five games and making eight appearances in 2015. He was expected to retain the job the following season, but missed half of his senior year due to foot surgery prior to the 'Noles' opening game.
Maguire was a backup on Florida State's 2013 BCS national championship team, as well as back-to-back ACC championship teams in 2013 and 2014.
Fisher has already brought several former Seminoles other assistants with him to College Station since taking over last month.
Former FSU assistants Darrell Dickey (offensive coordinator), Dameyune Craig (offense) and Jay Graham (running backs) have also left the Seminoles for A&M this offseason.
Fisher resigned as FSU's head coach to accept the same position with the Aggies on December 1. He led the Seminoles to an 83-23 record, which included a national championship in 2013, as well as three ACC titles (2012-14) and four first-place finishes in the ACC Atlantic Division (2010, 2012-14).
