It's been a busy day for recruiting, and four-star wide receiver Jalen Preston just made it even busier.
To little surprise, Preston (6-foot-2, 212 pounds, Manvel, TX) announced that he was staying in-state by announcing his commitment to Texas A&M.

Preston, ranked as the No. 8 wideout in the nation by Rivals, also had offers from LSU, Georgia, and Michigan — among others — but A&M were the heavy favorites before he made the decision.
As is tradition, A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin was clearly excited to get the commitment.

Despite the rumors that Sumlin is on the hot seat heading into 2018, he and his staff are still putting in heavy work on the recruiting trail. Preston is commitment No. 15 for the Aggies and their 2018 class, and they currently rank in the Top 15 in the nation in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
