Gators land son of NBA legend in latest transfer

Florida basketball desperately needed a go-to scorer and senior leadership for this upcoming season and got exactly that with their latest transfer. The youngest son of NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry committed to the Gators Monday morning and made coach Mike White undoubtedly one happy guy.

The 6'6" guard played his first three years of D-I basketball at the College of Charleston and last year averaged almost 20 points a game. This is a huge coup for White and the team as Barry can come in right away and not only play, but seriously contribute to what should be a good team.
