Four-star defensive tackle Xach Gill (6-foot-5, 270 pounds, Wake Forest, NC) used the ol' hat ceremony to announce a decision on Monday, as the big lineman revealed that he will be heading to the University of North Carolina.

Gill also had offers from Virginia Tech, LSU, and Miami, among others.
The Tar Heels are building yet another solid class under head coach Larry Fedora, as Gills is the 16th commitment for North Carolina in the 2017 recruiting cycle. That class ranks a solid 23rd in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
