2018 tight end prospect Will Mallory is one of the more intriguing players at the position. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound athlete actually plays wide receiver at the high school level, flashing high-end ability as a pass-catcher, but with the ability to fill out over the next year or two, Mallory has received a lot of interest from programs like Michigan at the tight end position.
However, Rob Cassidy of Rivals brings word that Mallory will visit at least three more programs, with Miami, Georgia and Clemson all in the running for his services. After saying "I just like the people there and the coaches" about Mark Richt and the Hurricans, Mallory shared this about the Bulldogs and Tigers.
"I know I'm going to Georgia and Clemson. I've been to Clemson already - once for a game. I loved it. I thought it was awesome. I didn't get to see a lot of the campus because it was a night game, so I want to go back and see the new facilities and all that."
Mallory rates as one of the top ten tight ends in the country according to the 247Sports composite and he would be a fantastic get for any of the trio of schools in question. At this point, it is difficult to pin down a decisive leader for the pass-catcher from Jacksonville (Fla.) but it is safe to assume that his movements will be tracked down to the day from this point forward.
