Well this didn't take that long.
Four-star safety Derrek Pitts (6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Charleston, WV) decommitted from Penn State just two weeks, and it looks like he has already found a new school. On Monday night, Pitts announced a new commitment to one of the remaining 11 undefeated teams in college football: West Virginia.

Coming home is an understatement for this one. Pitts — rated as a four-star by Rivals — is also the consensus No. 1 recruit in the state of West Virginia. This is a huge get for head coach Dana Holgorsen and the Mountaineers.
West Virginia moves up to No. 40 over at 247Sports in their recruiting rankings. That is good enough for fourth in the Big 12.
