Former WWF, AWA wrestler has tragically passed away at the age of 68

Dennis Stamp has sadly passed away on Monday at the age of 68 following a battle with cancer, according to the Wrestling Observer. Stamp, a star in the movie Beyond the Mat, and the 1971 AWA Rookie of the Year worked through the 80's under the legendary Verne Gagne.

Stamp, a star in the movie "Beyond the Mat," and the 1971 AWA Rookie of the Year worked through the 80's under the legendary Verne Gagne.

He held a variety of championships over his indy career, including a handful of NWA belts.

He is forever booked in heaven

He beat cancer after an original diagnosis in 2011, but it came back in September.
