A former NFL wide receiver says it's time for people to quit saying Tim Tebow hasn't had a proper opportunity to be a professional quarterback.
David Anderson played with Tebow for a couple of months in Denver in 2011 when both were second string players. Anderson said during an interview on Fox Sports Radio that he practiced with Tebow a lot and doesn't think he's that good. Anderson went so far as to say he's the worst quarterback he played with in the league.
"He wasn't able to throw the football down field, he wasn't able to throw the football in the middle of the field and he was really limited in creating plays with his feet," Anderson said.
He also said Tebow had plenty of opportunities to prove himself as a franchise quarterback and didn't play well enough to do so.
