Shaq Wiggins has bounced around in major college football over the last couple of seasons. The talented defensive back began his career at Georgia under the leadership of Mark Richt and Todd Grantham, where he excelled to the point of notoriety. From there, Wiggins elected to transfer to Louisville, along with Grantham, to play for Bobby Petrino and he garnered an All-ACC nod in 2015.
However, Wiggins was not done, announcing in March that he would be pursuing another avenue to finish up his eligibility after a graduate transfer. After a topsy-turvy trip to the transfer market, we now know that Wiggins will be closing his career in Knoxville as a member of the Tennessee Volunteers.

Wiggins reportedly took a visit to Tennessee earlier this month, and he was weighing options including Mississippi State and South Carolina. However, the end result was a pledge to play for Butch Jones and the Vols in 2017 and Wiggins' immediate eligibility is a huge win for Tennessee.
It remains to be seen as to just how effective Shaq Wiggins can be after an injury-plagued 2016 season. Still, his talent is undeniable and Tennessee just picked up a very nice addition to the secondary in late April.
