Former Auburn star quarterback Nick Marshall was hoping to catch on with the New York Jets as a cornerback this year, but it seems he's got four less games to do that now. The NFL suspended him for using performance enhancing drugs.
The NFL released the following statement in regards to Marshall's suspension Friday:
Nick Marshall of the New York Jets has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2017 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.
Marshall is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
