Five-star point guard Tre Jones is in an intense recruitment stage right now as he has several bluebloods coming after him like Duke —- where his brother played —- Arizona and UCLA as well as his hometown school in Minnesota and others. He spoke to 247Sports about his recruitment while he's playing in a tournament out in Las Vegas.
While there are plenty of schools coming at the 6'1", 175-pound point guard in his recruitment, he only described one as coming at him hard.
"I've been talking to them a lot. They've been recruiting some of the guys that I want to go to college with. They're coming heavy. They're recruiting me hard," Jones said of Duke.
The Minnesota native also has offers USC, Ohio State, Arizona, Oregon, Texas Tech and Memphis among others. Duke is the heavy favorite in the 247Sports crystal ball because his older brother Tyus went there and happened to help Coach K win another national championship. Of the 17 predictions made, 16 of them belong to Duke while one has gone to Minnesota.
