Knockouts are common in sports. Cheap shots, however, not so much. And then a fighter getting assaulted?
That's what happened in Glory 42 in Paris in a bout between welterweight fighters Murthel Groenhart and Harut Grigorian.
For some reason, halfway through the round, Grigorian turned his back, and walked away. Then, Groenhart clocked him good and hit him so hard that he knocked him out cold.

That didn't sit well with fans who jumped into the ring and attacked Groenhart.
One of the craziest things I've ever seen at a fight. pic.twitter.com/ijAdtuF1NL

According to MMAFighting.com, the announcer noted that the punch wasn't illegal but, it wasn't very nice.
No kidding.
That first fan lands a nasty punch and a second fan hopped in as well. It was a scary scene that hopefully never takes place at another MMA or boxing match.
