ESPN legend John Clayton has a new job following his layoff

Former ESPN NFL reporter John Clayton was a part of the company's massive layoffs in the spring. Clayton already had jobs in Sirius XM radio that he was going to continue, but now it looks like he has another position: sideline reporter for Seattle Seahawks games.

Former ESPN NFL reporter John Clayton was a part of the company's massive layoffs in the spring. Clayton already had jobs in Sirius XM radio that he was going to continue, but now it looks like he has another position: sideline reporter for Seattle Seahawks games.

Clayton is also scheduled to do some work with ESPN until his contract officially runs out in 2020.

Clayton — who has been with ESPN for 23 years — is one of ESPN's most respected NFL personalities, as he is often a go-to guy for both ESPN television, website, and radio properties. He's also made a presence for himself with his unique look, which he has often used to make fun of himself.
