The ESPN Football Power Index has crowned yet another top team in this week's rankings. Last week's top team was Oklahoma and the week before that was Ohio State. Now, ESPN's FPI has Alabama at the top after a 59-0 smashing of Vanderbilt. Here's the top 20 in its entirety:
Despite an 0-2 record and an ugly looking offense, Florida State is still somehow ranked in the top 20 and Mississippi State is only three spots behind the team that demolished them 31-3. Ohio State being ahead of any undefeated teams is still baffling, but that's just the FPI for you.
