Ever since her NXT debut, Ember Moon has been one of the most popular women's wrestlers in WWE. Filling the role left by Asuka of the dominant fan-favorite, Moon captured the NXT Women's Championship and retained the title for nearly five months before being defeated by Shayna Baszler at the TakeOver: New Orleans event. Although she lost her title, her momentum and popularity led to a main roster call-up on the following episode of Raw.
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Moon expressed that she feels she had some unfinished business before her main roster call-up.
"When I got moved to Raw I felt like there was still a lot for me to do on NXT," Moon explained.

She admits that although it is a rush being called up to the main roster, she does feel like she is starting all over again and has to be patient during the process. Interestingly, Moon thought that a main roster call-up was not in her future, but something much different instead.
"It was a very overwhelming surprise when I got drafted. Triple H told me after my match at TakeOver how well I'd done and I thought I was about to get fired but I got sent to Raw." — Ember Moon
At the first ever all-women's WWE pay-per-view, Evolution, Moon was able to outlast 18 other competitors and become the runner-up of the battle royal to determine the number one contender for the Raw Women's Championship.
View this post on InstagramSince then, however, Moon has experienced a losing skid, racking up losses against Nia Jax and Tamina, respectively, on consecutive Raw episodes. Despite the setbacks, Moon looks to rebound and get back to being one of the most dominant names on the women's roster.
Based off the reaction she received at Evolution, the crowd continues to stand with her throughout her WWE journey.
