Duke just picked up its fifth pledge for the 2016 recruiting class from 6'7", 220-pound wing man Jack White. He is not currently ranked by any service because he plays in Australia for the Australian Institute of Sports. He took an official visit to Duke last weekend and Coach K offered him a scholarship as well.
White played in the U19 World Championships with Australia this past summer and through seven games he averaged 8.3 points and 3.9 rebounds. He made the announcement official on Twitter:
Very happy to announce that I have verbally committed to Duke University! Excited to be a Blue Devil! 😈

"I think I have a really good relationship with all the coaches," he said about the Duke staff. "They are all great, especially Jon [Scheyer]. I've talked to him the most. He's a great guy and coach. He's been honest with me and it's been good to communicate with him and Coach K."
Duke currently has the No. 2 recruiting class behind Kentucky. The Blue Devils have commitments from Javin DeLaurier, Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum and Frank Jackson already for 2016.
