When things are going well for a college football team, they are often going really well.
Mississippi State has been one of the most talked about teams in college football this week, as the 3-0 Bulldogs are coming off a 37-7 victory of LSU that catapulted them into the Top 25 rankings. Mississippi State now has more to celebrate, as they got the commitment from four-star athlete Diwun Black on Wednesday evening.

Black (6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Forest, MS) is a class of 2019 recruit, and he currently ranks as a four-star and as the No. 12 overall athlete in the nation per the 247Sports Composite. It's still early for the 2019 class, but Black did have offers from Tennessee, Ole Miss, and USC, among others.
Though he plays on both sides of the ball now, Black is currently projecting as a defensive back at the next level.
Black is Mississippi State's fourth commitment of the 2019 class, and he is their second highest-rated commit behind five-star defensive end Charles Moore.
