The Indianapolis Colts will be down an offensive lineman when they take on the New England Patriots for the AFC Championship. Offensive tackle Xavier Nixon is listed as out because he missed the team flight to the New England area on Saturday, which was first reported by Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star.
I have no idea how you miss the flight knowing when it is and knowing you have the biggest game of the season on Sunday, but somehow Nixon accomplished that.
Nixon only played 99 snaps this season, so it's likely he wouldn't have played at all anyway, but it's still so bizarre.
