ESPN's College Football GameDay will take place Saturday morning from Tuscaloosa, Alabama ahead of the No. 1 Crimson Tide's tilt with the No. 6 Texas A&M Aggies.
As part of the shenanigans toward the end of the weekly morning show, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit announced Friday that the guest picker would be none other than Verne Lundquist.
Yes Sir! Excited to have legendary @SEConCBS Verne Lundquist join us as guest picker on @CollegeGameDay - live from @AlabamaFTBL on Saturday
— Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) October 21, 2016
Lundquist is on his retirement tour, finishing his last year calling college football for CBS.
Alabama and Texas A&M face off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
