Former WWE superstar CM Punk has been out of the company for several years now, but his record-setting WWE title reign has remained in-tact until now. WWE NXT Women's Division champion Asuka has now held the title for 435 days.
Punk's reign ended at 434 days.
Asuka's run on top in NXT has been very impressive, and, like Punk's reign years ago, it's been a wild ride that's included the champion pulling off every trick in the book to retain their title.
The NXT Women's champ also surpassed WCW and WWE legend Goldberg's undefeated streak earlier this year, too.
Needless to say, Asuka is in elite company with CM Punk and Goldberg. As both streaks are incredibly impressive.
It should be interesting to see how long Asuka's title reign goes for, but it doesn't look to be ending anytime soon.
