Clayton Kershaw is the first pitcher in MLB history to strike out at least 13 in a complete game with fewer than 100 pitches.

He became the first pitcher in MLB history to strike out 13 pitchers by throwing less than 100 pitches. How dominant was it? Only four other pitchers in major league history had as many as 12 strikeouts when throwing fewer than 100 pitches in a game — Sandy Koufax, Cliff Lee, Carlos Carrasco and Felix Hernandez. But then again, we're used to dominance from the 29-year-old Kershaw, who is now 13-2 with a 2.19 ERA and 0.892 WHIP.
