For those looking forward to seeing Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones participate at the Combine, we've got some bad news.
Jones was running his second 40-yard dash on Saturday when he pulled up with an apparent hamstring injury. While it doesn't matter too much what his 40-time is — which was a 4.83 on his first attempt — the injury meant that Jones would not be participating in throwing drills later in the day.
Cardale Jones just told me he's done for the day. He left the field. I'm unclear on injury.

This will likely just be a blip on the radar for Jones, as he still has Ohio State's pro day on March 11 to impress the scouts. While he is not as hot of a commodity as he was after the 2014 season, Jones still has the size and arm strength necessary to be a starting NFL quarterback.
