LaQuan McGowan is a former offensive guard turned tight end for Baylor. At 410 pounds — up from 380 last year — he's one of the largest players in college football, and especially at a skill position. McGowan was moved to tight end full-time this offseason and we got to see the result this evening during Baylor's Friday Night Lights spring game, where McGowan caught a pass on a seam route up the middle of the field

McGowan made headlines in the Cotton Bowl with his glorious touchdown catch on a similar play in the redzone, and hopefully he will be featured more in the Bears' offensive gameplan this season now that he's been moved to tight end. For a man his size, he moves exceptionally well and best of luck to anyone in the secondary trying to make a one-on-one tackle on him. I mean, LOOK AT THE POOR SAFETY TRYING TO BRING HIM DOWN.
