Bartolo Colón is not known as a hitter at all. In fact, he's a great pitcher, which usually translates to bring a poor hitter in the National League where pitchers have to actually go to bat. Having that in mind and with the knowledge that Colón has never hit a homerun, enjoy this particular at-bat.

That was his first ever homerun and he joins some historical Mets with the hit too!

Is Colón the greatest hitting pitcher of our time? Doubtful, but this homerun will not easily be forgotten!
