According to Salt Lake City Tribune, the three-year-old daughter of BYU running backs coach Reno Mahe was found hanging from a set of mini-blinds. The cord was wrapped around her neck, per College Football Talk.
One of seven children, Elsie was found by a four-year-old child, who alerted Mahe's wife. The mother then performed CPR on the child before she was life-flighted to Salt Lake City hospital.
According to the report, Elsie, was put on a respirator and sedated in order to allow her brain and body to rest.
Sadly, the little girl has died. The family made the announcement in an emotional Instagram post on Nov. 29.
