An emotional Verne Lundquist signs off for the final time for CBS college football

Verne Lundquist's career isn't over, as he still has college basketball and golf obligations in his future. However, Saturday's Army-Navy game will be the final college football game of his illustrious career, and Lundquist signed off for the last time after Army pulled off a 21-17 upset of the Midshipment.

Lundquist mentions the first college football game he saw back in 1952 and describes how he fell in the game. In his final address, "Uncle Verne" thanks his CBS co-hosts, the broadcast team, and his wife for a wonderful career calling hundreds off college football game.
