Woodard had previously released a Top 5 that also consisted of Ohio State, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M. However, Texas had been the rumored favorite heading into his planned Saturday commitment, and it looks like Tom Herman indeed won this battle.
Woodard is rated as the No. 8 wide receiver in the nation by Rivals. Woodard is the 12th commitment for the Longhorns' 2018 recruiting class, which currently ranks in the Top 10 at Rivals and 247Sports.
