Cincinnati Bengals kicker Mike Nugent has had a rough couple of weeks, and it appears he might be on his way out.
Nugent missed a field goal and an extra point in last week's game against the Redskins, which ended in a tie. He's 14-of-19 on field goal attempts this season, but he has three misses in the past three games.
As a result, the Bengals have reportedly been working out kickers this week during their bye. Veterans Kai Forbath, Zach Hocker and Randy Bullock are some of the names that have been brought in, but none have yet to be signed. Indications are that the team is simply looking at other kickers in case Nugent's struggles continue.

Head coach Marvin Lewis does, however, see the kicking game as an area of concern.
"The missed PAT and missed field goal are big things," Lewis said at his weekly press conference Tuesday.
The Bengals are 3-4-1 on the season. Their next game will be on Monday Night Football on Nov. 14 against the Giants.
