
Western Kentucky didn't take very long to fill its head coaching spot after Jeff Brohm took the opening at Purdue. It has reportedly settled on a new head coach and he comes from the Power Five ranks, or more accurately the independent ranks.

Sanford was the offensive coordinator at Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish averaged about 31 points a game despite going 4-8. Brohm was an offensive-minded guy so clearly the Hilltoppers are going to stay with that kind of thinking with this hire.
