When you think of sub-4.4 speed in the 40 yard dash, you think of the quickest athletes on the football field; your wide receivers, running backs, defensive backs, those kind of guys.
Well, LSU linebacker Deion Jones is showing that the guys in the front seven on defense can be fast, too, as he ran a 4.38 40-yard dash at LSU Pro Day. Jones, who was LSU's leading tackler in 2015 with 100 total tackles, had a lot to gain, as the projected second or third round pick might have just piqued some team's interest in taking him in the first round.
