
One of the big keys to the game for Tennessee was to contain South Carolina receiver Pharoh Cooper, but this was not the way to do it. Vols safety Brian Randolph absolutely ended Cooper on a late and illegal hit. Cooper had not shot at getting this ball and was completely defenseless so this was truly a dumb play by Randolph.

This was probably the easiest targeting call of the season and he will miss the second half of the game. Tennessee is up 14-0 as the first quarter winds down.
