It seems like almost everyone in WWE has suffered an injury this year, and it appears that the Chairman of the company is not immune to the injury bug. WWE announced on Monday that Vince McMahon had suffered a injury that will require surgery.
WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon sustained an injury while training, requiring surgery, WWE.com has learned. The Chairman will be back in the office at WWE Headquarters on Wednesday, as usual.
WWE notes that McMahon will be back in the office on Wednesday, which makes it seem like a minor injury. However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is skeptical that McMahon will be back to work so quickly. Meltzer noted on the latest version of his radio podcast that McMahon suffered a torn quad while doing squats, and that he require surgery to reattach it.

McMahon has suffered torn quads before, famously tearing both of his quad at the 2005 Royal Rumble, when a blown finish require McMahon to come out to the ring. The fact that the 71-year old McMahon is still doing heavy training that would cause another blown quad is quite impressive, though.
Since Vinnie Mac is a full-blown workaholic, we are sure he will be back to work as soon as he can.
