UNI secures tourney bid on crazy buzzer-beater

Northern Iowa and Evansville were locked in a tight game down the stretch. This particular game decided who would get the Missouri Valley Conference automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. UNI already upset top-seeded Wichita State in the semi-final and it looks like they were eager to keep playing into the postseason.

UNI's Wes Washpun was a big part of the win over UNC earlier in the year and it turns out he would play a huge role in this game as well. He had the ball with the game tied at 54-54 and decided that he wasn't about that overtime life.
